When it comes to renovating or upgrading bathrooms, alongside kitchens, they become the most expensive rooms in your home. With a bathroom, irrespective of budget, there is little room for error as any mistakes are very obvious and cannot be hidden. Therefore it is imperative that you find tradesmen that you can trust and rely on to deliver a finish to the highest standard.
I called upon Luke Triggs Bathroom Ltd to initially undertake the restoration of two bathrooms. When I first met Luke and his partner Andy, it became apparent to me that they worked together as a team and they shared a passion for their work. Luke is a qualified Plumber and Andy a qualified Carpenter and both have a remarkable skill for tiling. They called upon the other tradesmen they needed and in my case this was for Plastering and Electrics, and they brought in like minded people. They effectively project managed the restorations and at no time did they ever raise any problems or concerns that required my intervention. The work was started and finished within the timeframe quoted and when they had finished we were left with two amazing bathrooms.
Their attention to detail became very apparent. With tiling I believe a vision is needed to see the finished room in order to prevent little stips of tile in corners or on horizontal edges. They planned it well. Every grout line is of uniform width and the tile corners are perfectly finished with aluminum edging strips. The creation of stud walling to conceal cisterns, the installation of the sanitary ware and the overall finish was perfect. They delivered two high end bathrooms of the highest quality, so much so that we called upon them again to upgrade our master bedroom en-suite.
For this project we selected large tiles of 120cm by 60cm for the walls and floor. This included a feature wall in the shower of a very unique tile in which they designed an illuminated recessed shelf. All the tiles had a vein running through them, which was not a pattern, but they aligned the tiles taking this into account, giving a flow to the vein throughout the bathroom. Again, their workmanship was second to none. They delivered on schedule and what they delivered was again, absolutely beautiful.
Both Luke and Andy are very nice individuals who have a very good work ethic. Throughout all the time they were working in our home their housekeeping standards were immaculate. They kept the disruption caused by internal building work to an absolute minimum. I am convinced that anyone that employs them to undertake their bathroom project will not be disappointed.
